FACTS 7.2 Release
Tom Parke, Director of Software Solutions at Berry Consultants, introduces some of the new features in the FACTS 7.2 release such as:
New “quick start/quick finish” features that help new users to quickly run and understand their first example trials.
Implementation of the dose escalation rules-based methods: i3+3, mTPI-2 and BOIN, alongside the facilities that already exist to design and simulate 3+3, mTPI and Bayesian CRM methods (including Bayesian Logistic Regression).
New graphs that can show the evolution of a quantity of interest such as the probability the treatment is better than control by a certain amount over the interims in the simulation.
New “operational” quantities of interest, as opposed to statistical ones, that can be included in decision criteria, such as “the number of subjects currently enrolled on this arm”.
