
Jessica Overbey, DrPH
Senior Statistical Scientist
Jessica Overbey is a Senior Statistical Scientist at Berry Consultants. She has extensive experience and expertise in the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials, including adaptive and Bayesian designs. Her work spans a broad range of therapeutic areas, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurology, psychiatry, obstetrics, oncology, and rare genetic disorders, with a longstanding focus on heart failure and cardiovascular trials.
Dr. Overbey has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and is an active leader in the clinical trials community, serving on Data and Safety Monitoring Boards, grant review panels for the NIH and PCORI, and as a Statistical Editor for the Journal of Cardiac Failure. She is a Fellow of the Society for Clinical Trials. Before joining Berry Consultants, she was an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She earned her MS and Dr PH in Biostatistics from Columbia University, where her doctoral research focused on the use of shared control groups in platform trials.
