Amy Crawford, Ph.D.

Amy Crawford is a Statistical Scientist at Berry Consultants. She designs innovative and adaptive clinical trials tailored to a variety of medical areas. Her experience spans conditions such as stroke, heart failure, chronic diseases such as scleroderma and type I diabetes, as well as progressive neurologic disorders like Parkinson’s disease and dementias. Amy has contributed to multiple platform trial initiatives, with an emphasis on creating statistical approaches that reflect disease evolution and underlying biology. She enjoys translating technical statistical concepts into clear, practical communication and visuals for clinical teams. Before joining Berry Consultants, she earned her PhD from Iowa State University, where her research focused on developing Bayesian models for the NIST Forensic Science Center of Excellence.
