ARLG ADAPT Platform Trial Public Meeting

Duke Clinical Research Institute is announcing a public meeting to disseminate and discuss the results of an NIH-funded project (known as ADAPT) to design a more efficient, less expensive way to conduct a clinical trial to test new antibiotics to treat highly resistant bacterial pathogens.  The ADAPT Public Meeting on December 7th will run from 9am-3pm, and will present the study design and facilitate the discussion of the operational and statistical issues associated with running a platform trial capable of simultaneously evaluating multiple antibiotics for treating resistant infections across multiple body sites.
